Dr. Larry L. Phillips-Brown, a native of Miami, Florida, moved away in 1994 to pursue other avenues, both personal and vocational. Dr. Brown is a graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School. He is the recipient of the Miami Herald Silver Knight Award in the category of drama and musical theatre. This is a very prestigious award that is indicative of seniors who have demonstrated academic prowess and devoted themselves wholeheartedly to community services.
In April 1985, Dr. Brown graduated from Southeast Florida Institute of Criminal Justice with a certificate in law enforcement, as well as, Davis Investigative Training in February 1996. Dr. Brown is a former forensic COI officer for the State of Florida and former fugitive detective for the state of Virginia.
Dr. Brown received his ordination in the Holiness Church of God International in August 1994. However, Apostle Dr. Katrine Forbes of Now Faith Deliverance Center and Now Faith Ministries of Miami, Fla was very instrumental in pioneering his ministry. Dr. Brown received a certificate to serve as Bishop for the Greater End Time Harvest Ministries under the leadership of the late Chief Apostle Bishop H.A. Wilson in the year of 1988. Dr. Brown received a doctorate of Divinity Degree from the Blessed Hope Bible College of Tampa, Florida in the year of 2001. Additionally, Dr. Brown holds a doctorate of Ministry degree from Delight Christian Learning Center for Religious Studies, Inc., of Plantation, Florida. Dr. Brown is also a graduate of CPSP (College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy) based out of Atlanta, Georgia, which is accredited and theology based. Dr. Brown is a Certified Clinical Chaplain/Psychotherapist and holds one unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). Dr. Brown graduated on January 15, 2014 in Albany, Georgia under the tutelage of Rev. Bryan A Jones, M. Div., LPC, LLC. He is a former member of the Evangelistic Outreach Ministry at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Miami, Florida.
Dr. Brown is a gospel recording artist known as “Preacher Preacher”, global speaker, praise and worship leader and an upcoming aspiring author. His recording project, “I Trust Him©” was released in 2002 and his first duet project, “It’s Our Time©” has currently been released.
Dr. Larry Phillip Brown is a faithful soldier in God’s Army and he is an avid student and lover of God’s Word. This man of God has been preaching for a total of 30 years and is the Apostle/Pastor of Judah of Praise, Inc. of Thomasville, Georgia
